In order to continue our harmonious collaboration beyond May 25th , 2018, the date that marks the entry into force of the Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("Regulation"), we need your up-to-date data processing agreement/consent.

In the absence of an express consent you will no longer receive communications from us, and your data will be deleted.

Communications received from us may include invitations to seminars, workshops and events or newsletters, surveys or other marketing communications related to the services offered by ICMCI worldwide.

If you indicate that you no longer wish to receive communications from ICMCI, we will no longer be able to share direct marketing communications with you and your contact details will be moved to our opt-out list to prevent you from receiving any further communications.

Please note you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing or to have your personal data deleted from our databases (including our opt-out list). Privacy Notice

1. ICMCI 'S COMMITMENT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

ICMCI undertakes to implement privacy and transparency standards in respect to the personal data it processes in its current activity in accordance with the principles laid down in the applicable data protection legislation in Romania, (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (hereinafter referred to as "the Regulation" or "GDPR").

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person and an identifiable person is that person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier or to one or more specific elements, of his physical, physiological, genetic, psychic, economic, cultural or social identity;

This information note concerns the personal data of our business partners, other people who contact us and who visit us and their representatives or contacts or their employees, and applies to data collected by email or other offline means.

This note describes how we process personal data in managing our relationship with our business partners, the categories of your data we process, the way and purpose for which we collect and use the personal data, the duration of the data processing, the recipients to whom we transfer the data and your rights as a data subject and how you can exercise them.

3. Why do we need your information?

Personal data processed in the database are used for the purposes of sales and marketing. Processing your contact information allows us to communicate with you via electronic mailings, text messages, in hard copy form or from time to time if necessary also via phone.

4. What type of personal data is processed?

Our database includes personal data of former, current and prospective members. The databases also contain data of other business contacts (such as consultants etc) as well as alumni.

The following data categories are processed through our database:

  • Name, job title, address, email address, phone numbers, fax number
  • Marketing preferences
  • Invitation responses and event attendance confirmations.

Your personal data is provided by you or comes from a third party source. For example, we may collect personal data from your organization, other organizations with which you have links, information providers or service providers, or from public foundations.

If you provide us with personal data about another person (such as a person with whom you have a professional relationship), you have the obligation to ensure that you have the right to disclose this personal data and that, without to take other measures, we may collect, use and disclose those personal data as described herein.

5. Sensitive Personal Data

Sensitive personal data reveals your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data concerning health or data concerning sex life or sexual orientation.

ICMCI does not intentionally collect any sensitive personal data from you to store in it in our database. The databases’ intention is not to process such data unless you explicitly provide sensitive personal data to us (for example dietary requirements if you attend one of our events).

6. Who can access your information?

Access to your personal data is limited by need. All marketing personnel within ICMCI have access to your contact information.

We will only disclose your personal data to third parties:

  • If such third party is engaged by ICMCI to facilitate, maintain or support our database (for example, to provide information technology and other administrative support services to operate the database);
  • When explicitly requested by you;
  • As required by a court order or any other legal or regulatory requirement.

Data of contacts who have been out of active use for 18 months will be deleted from our database. If you want to have your data deleted from our database or if you wish to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, please email us via info@cmc-global.org.

ICMCI is committed to making sure your personal data is secure. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, ICMCI has technical and organizational measures to safeguard and secure your personal data. All ICMCI personnel and third parties ICMCI engages to process your personal data are obliged to respect your data’s confidentiality.

ICMCI will not transfer your personal data to third parties (other than any external parties referred to in section 6 above) unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

You are legally entitled to request details of ICMCI’s personal data about you.

To confirm whether your personal data is processed in our database or to access your personal data systems, contact your usual ICMCI representative or email your request to info@cmc-global.org.

11. Rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability

In order to confirm that your personal data is accurate and current or to request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or a readily portable copy of your personal data, you can contact your usual ICMCI representative or by sending an e-mail to info@cmc-global.org.

If you are concerned about an alleged breach of privacy law or any other regulation, contact ICMCI via email at info@cmc-global.org. We will investigate your complaint and provide information about how it will be handled.

If you are not satisfied with how ICMCI resolved your complaint, you have the right to complain to your country’s data protection authority. You can also refer the matter to a court of competent jurisdiction.
