About the Speakers
Adelwyn Holder is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) and Project Manager with an extensive experience in engineering, design, construction, business, and project management gained through his leadership and participation in initiatives for both private and public sector clients throughout Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean, and North America.
Adelwyn is the Founder and Managing Director of Ikigai Consulting, a consultancy focused on delivering value through project, business, and construction management services. He provides sound and independent technical advice, critical and timely data-driven insights which enhance and produce greater clarity across every phase of project activities.
Brend Badenhorst is an IMCSA Accredited Business Coach and SETA Accredited Business Facilitator. He serves on the Entrepreneurship Faculty’s Advisory Board for UNISA, the largest open distance learning institution in Africa, and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). He is also an active member of the Young Leaders Forum.
Brend started his career as a consultant in corporate structures and later launched his own company Business Plan Pro® which has since become the #1 Business Plan Brand in South Africa. Subsequently, he created the brands Entrepreneurship School® and Small Business Coach™ assisting entrepreneurs and small business owners to start and grow their businesses through various business education and business coaching programmes.
Cassandra Corbet has been working in management consultancy and advisory for over 15 years across public sector bodies and health care structures in the US, UAE and Ireland. Her professional passions lie in capabilities such as Change Management, Design Thinking, Team Building, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Programme and Project Management and Strategic Planning.
Cassandra is a board member of the IMCA focusing on the development of mid-career Consultants and Chair of the IMCA’s ‘Young Consultants Group’. She is currently a Lead Consultant for Novartis where she leads multi-disciplinary teams through global transformations.
Christina Boseva is an Investment Associate at IMPETUS Capital, an Alternative investment fund manager based in Bulgaria, where she is responsible for deal sourcing, transaction valuations, due diligence and operations stages. Previously she worked on major CEE and Bulgarian M&A projects, including due diligence and valuation assignments as a senior Strategy & Transactions Consultant at EY. She has studied at Rotterdam School of Management with a focus on business valuation investments, private equity and financial modelling.
Damilola Odeleye, MBET, CBAP, is a consultant with proven competence in achieving results in fast-paced, challenging and dynamic business environments. Currently working as a Best Practice Consultant in one of the leading financial services companies in Canada, Damilola leads and consults on various digital, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that help to achieve organisational strategic objectives. These consulting engagements are focused on improving operational processes and leveraging technology to gain advantage so as to deliver greater value to clients and advisors, without compromising on risk, cost effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
Damilola currently sits on the CMC-Canada board as a Director-at-large (Young Professional) and volunteers as a Growth & Retention Strategist with CMC-Canada South Western Ontario chapter.
Jana Buchanan, MBA, CAPM, is a consultant in Deloitte’s Core Business Operations practice as a member of the Operations Transformation team. She has worked with clients in education, healthcare, justice, and various other labour groups. Prior to joining Deloitte, Jana served as a key member of the legal support team for an Atlantic region labour and employment firm. As a Certified Associate in Project Management, Jana has a broad understanding of project management and change management tools and methodologies. She is currently in pursuit of both the CMC and PMP designations.
She serves on the Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) - Atlantic Institute Board, Regional Representative for CMC-Canada National Growth Committee, and Canadian representative member of the ICMCI Future Leaders Forum. She is an active member of Project Management Institute Nova Scotia Chapter and the Institute of Public Administration.
Kaitlin Pianosi, CMC®, MBA, CCA is a Senior Consultant at Pivot Consulting, a small firm focused on the public sector in Atlantic Canada. Her clients have included provincial and municipal governments, healthcare, non-profits and agencies. Her work runs the gamut of traditional management consulting, including strategic planning, implementation, project management, research and analysis, business case development and review, and change management.
Kaitlin is also President of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Atlantic Canada.
Luiz Carlos Lopes Viana is Managing Partner of Finance and Accounting at VISOVI Group in Angola. He has more than 10 years of experience in accounting, auditing and consulting. He worked for almost four years in a Big 4 company and for three years as Financial Manager of a large group of Angolan companies. He has experience in diverse sectors, including Mining, Real Estate, Chemicals, IT Solutions, Oil & Gas, Agribusiness. His expertise covers startup development and mentoring.
Luiz Viana has served as Director of Professional Development at IBRACON (9th Regional Bahia) - Institute of Independent Auditors of Brazil; President of IBCO, the Brazilian Institute of Organizational Consultants (2021 x 2022); Vice-President of IBEF, the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executive of Bahia; Councillor and Member of the Inspection Chamber of the CRC-BA, and at other professional institutions.
MohammadMahdi Saeedian, CMC®, is a member of the Iran Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and its Innovation Committee. His main field of activity is concentrated on innovation studies and research with a particular focus on innovation strategies and platform ecosystems. As a consultant, his work is dedicated to the advancement of science and collaboration. His main activities include consulting for digital platforms, investment strategies, and knowledge-based SMEs.
Sam Lee is a Registered Management Consultant and currently serves as Partner, Corporate Finance and Advisory at Paloe. He has specialised in preparing seed-stage start-ups for Series A round and has acted as interim CFO for various tech companies during their fundraising phases. He has also built financial models for more than 70 companies and honed the art of articulating their stories using numbers.
Before founding Paloe, he was the pioneer batch of M&A professionals at KPMG to be sent to Myanmar. Thereafter, he took up an Investment Manager role with Maersk Group to explore infrastructure opportunities in Asia. Concurrently, he held the appointment of Deputy Lead in the Communities of Practice – Digitalization at the Institute of Management Consultants Singapore.
Siranuysh Gyurjinyan, CMC® is a member of the Institute of Management Consulting of Armenia. She is an experienced communications expert and business management consultant having worked on diverse projects in the telecommunications industry as well as in both the private and the public sectors. Her expertise covers strategic management, operations management, negotiations, business planning, advertising, external relationships, internal communications and event management. .
