ICMCI is holding its 10th CMC International Conference in Amman, Jordan on 12-13 October 2023!
As your Chair, I invite you to share this call for speakers with your CMC members and Academic Fellows to submit a proposal to share their expertise and insights with those attending the conference. And, if you can recommend others with relevant insights and who are willing to share with us on a pro bono basis, please share this invitation with them.
The goal for this year’s conference is to assure it is a professional development opportunity with insights to the future, other than being meaningful, and memorable. We want to engage, inform, and stimulate thoughts on the future of our profession given the new technologies that are faster than adaptation.
Above all we want that in a face-to-face format to encourage peer to peer discussions and networking – since COVID it has become a virtual world, and we want to connect on a personal level again.
The conference theme is: “AI Driven Synergy - Exploring New Frontiers in Management Consulting”.
Your contribution could be either a presentation/speech, workshop in a breakout room, a masterclass, as part of a panel, or it could be an interview style of peer-to-peer discussion. Format is dependent on your proposal and the subject proposed to address our conference theme.
Content Suggestions:
• AI driven synergies
• Ethics in consulting
• Future trends/impact/opportunities
• The effect of AI on our profession
• The effect of AI on world economies.
Requested Proposals
In addition to the “keynote” presentations (of which some are already identified), we are also requesting proposals for 4 breakout sessions. Each session would focus on a topic and should be interactive. The duration and timing for these will depend on your suggestions and may include 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions.
Submission Details
Please submit your written proposals in electronic format along with appropriate supporting materials to the ICMCI secretariat office, reema.nasser@cmc-global.org and cmc-global@cmc-global.org. Our goal is to simplify the proposal phase in order to simplify the selection process. Selection criteria is based on:
• Content and value to attendees.
• Relative subject to theme of conference
• Speaker/presenter profile
Please note that proposals should address these key issues:
• Presentation format
• Topic & Purpose of your presentation
• Value to current and future CMCs and MCs
• Learning objective / opportunities
• Background / Qualifications of speaker/presenter
Submission Deadline is 02 June 2023.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
• All proposals will be evaluated and handled using the ethical standards of ICMCI keeping in mind that only a few can be selected for the conference.
• All approved proposals PowerPoints, visuals, written content will be shared with attendees in pdf format.
