Bara Badwan is a Data Scientist at Intelligencia.ai, a biotech company using Machine Learning and AI to predict the likelihood of FDA approval for potential therapeutics.

Bara is currently focused on adapting AI tools to better predict the therapeutic effectiveness and potential toxicity of novel cancer treatments before they enter clinical trials. 

Bara obtained his PhD from Yale University where he researched the early visual system in Damon Clark’s computational neuroscience group.

Previously, he had studied chemistry and chemical engineering at MIT while working for Ed Boyden’s Synthetic Neurobiology lab.
