Aleksandra Hristov is appointed a member of the Board of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI)
The International Council of the Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland has unanimously decided to appoint Ms. Aleksandra Hristov, (currently the President of the Management Board of the Association of Management Consultants of Serbia), as the new member of the Board of directors of ICMCI, the organization that includes the most prominent associations of management consultants in the world.
“It is my great honor to become a member of the Board of directors of ICMCI, and that I am now part of the team that can contribute to the development of our organization. With all my dedicated colleague members of the Board, I am quite confident we shall advance the work of all local Institutes of Management Consulting (IMCs) around the world, and of the individual management consultants. My tasks are going to be the marketing strategies and advocacy. I shall do my best to communicate the strategic priorities of this Board to the targeted audiences, and furthermore, I shall insist on ethical standards and professional integrity to be observed by all ICMCI members”, says Ms. Hristov.
The ICMCI strategic priorities are: building the profile, recognition and influence of the profession and its practitioners globally, to ensure that management consultants serve their clients with world-class competence and professionalism; supporting, enhancing, and growing the international network of management consulting institutes, as well as encouraging the information sharing, networking, and reciprocity between the institutes; enabling IMCs to enhance the visibility, recognition, and desirability of Certification as international benchmarks.
Ms. Aleksandra Hristov is an attorney at law with the bar exam, and internationally certified business management consultant (CMC) being a member of the Association of Management Consultants of Serbia since established in 2009.. In the past she had successfully completed the studies for the trainer in accordance to ICMCI and ISO 20700:2017 standards for management consulting.
Aleksandra graduated from the Program for Executive Managers in Government at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., USA, and in the field of communication, she spent more than thirty (30) years as she worked as a journalist and editor at independent media since the 1990-s.
Since 2003 she worked as an advisor to the top management of leading corporations, organizations, and Government on projects related to creating and implementing the organizational and various business objectives. Starting in 2007 she established her company and became the owner and the director of the consulting company for the strategic communication Hristov Consulting d.o.o. Hristov Consulting is the only consulting company in Serbia certified both for the communication strategies and the education in that area.
