Dear Academic Fellows, IMCs, and Volunteers,
Early in 2023, I advised you of a proposal ICMCI received from Dr Charles Phua of Solaris Management Advisors & Associates Pte Ltd, Singapore, to create a publishing pathway for Academic Fellows Faculty members. In July of that year, all Fellows were surveyed to determine their views on that proposal. More than seven in ten of you indicated your support for a publishing pathway.
Based on the survey’s findings, ICMCI’s board commenced discussions with Dr Phua and a Senior Editor for Routledge. I’m delighted to inform you that in December last year, ICMCI and Routledge, a signature brand of the Taylor & Francis Group, signed an agreement for a three-year trial of a publishing pathway for ICMCI Academic Fellows. The trial is limited to six (6) publications over the period. The terms of the agreement are:
- All manuscripts must be in English and cover one or more elements of management consulting.
- Manuscripts should be at least 50 thousand words and comply with Taylor & Francis Group’s publishing guidelines (attached).
- All manuscripts received will be subject to peer review by a panel of experts chaired by Dr Phua.
- Reviewed manuscripts will either be forwarded to Routledge with a recommendation for publication, returned to you for revision, or rejected. The reasons for rejection will be stated. Routledge has sole discretion to accept or reject a recommendation for publication.
- If your manuscript is accepted for publication, Routledge will enter into a standard publishing agreement with you. In addition, Routledge will pay ICMCI a royalty of 500 euros for each accepted work. That payment will not impact any other agreement you may reach with Routledge.
Please submit your book proposal to me as Chair of the ICMCI Academic Fellows Faculty as soon as possible. Proposal guidelines are included below:

I look forward to receiving your proposal soon. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.
