Vision: Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) was established in 2009 as a social and scientific association of professional management consultants. We unite expert consultants from Central Asia that have implemented more than 500 consulting projects over the last 10 years. IMC members are interested in developing management consultant profession. Each IMC member is committed to contribute to achieving IMC objectives, as defined in the IMC Charter.
We actively participate in the political life of Kyrgyzstan through business associations and expert circles. We share ideas, opinions, defend the interests of our members, partners and businesses. Thanks to the IMC members and our partners, we have made big plans aimed at promoting management consulting as an industry in Kyrgyzstan. Among of the other projectrs the Instutute works on Certification of consulting services.
Mission: The mission of IMC is to contribute to the integrated development of the Kyrgyz Republic by improving the professionalism of management consultants and developing consulting as an industry.
We are open to working closely with colleagues from neighboring countries because we see the development of the country in the context of the entire Central Asian region.
Main Goals: IMC KR contributes to the country’s economic development through strengthening consultant services in management and capacity building of the sector, as well as promoting excellence advance ethics of the profession. IMC KR is the only public union that manages consulting services industry. Maintaining a consultant database, tracking consultant performance, matchmaking, codes of practice, dispute resolution, and professional development support are all typical functions that would be provided by consultant association. Professional development support includes systematic market and sector development and capacity building interventions, such as training for local consultants on consultancy skills development, ethics of management consultants.
