ICMCI Euro Hub Annual Meeting 2025 Concludes Successfully in Brussels

Advancing Institutional Engagement and Professional Advocacy in Europe by “Mastering Effective Competitiveness”

Brussels, 10 June 2025 – The International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) proudly concluded its 2025 Euro Hub Annual Meeting in Brussels on 5–6 June, commemorating the International Management Consultants’ Day with a strategic gathering focused on advocacy, institutional collaboration, and the professional advancement of management consultants in Europe.

The meeting brought together leaders and representatives from Euro Hub Institutes of Management Consulting (IMCs), the ICMCI Board, and stakeholders from across the region.

Opening remarks were delivered by Nick Warn, CMC®, Chair of ICMCI, and Cesara Pasini, CMC®, Euro Hub Chair, highlighting the urgency and potential of enhancing the profession’s role in shaping European policy.

A special keynote address was delivered by Hon. Brando Benifei, Member of the European Parliament, who underscored the institutional significance of the Draghi Report on EU competitiveness and its implications for management consultants’ strategic contributions.

A high-level visit to the European Parliament further reinforced the role of ICMCI and its members in aligning the profession with European priorities and policymaking.

Key presentations included:

  • The Euro Hub Business Plan presentation and Sprint 1 Action Plan, presented by Cesara Pasini, with a special emphasis on the profession’s advocacy role;
  • Introduction of the new Pathway to CMC® initiative by Celal Seckin, CMC®, Chair of the Professional Development and Standards Committee and ICMCI Board Member, aimed at expanding access to Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) certification and supporting career growth.

The meeting concluded with a strategic discussion on institutional engagement and EU funding mechanisms. Participants agreed on concrete next steps to deepen ICMCI’s connection with EU institutions and initiatives.

A follow-up online meeting in July 2025 will provide a forum to broaden IMC participation, discuss institutional relations in greater depth, and gather input for Sprint 2 of the Action Plan.

ICMCI extends its sincere appreciation to all participants for their dedication to strengthening the voice, recognition, and impact of the management consulting profession across Europe.

About Hubs

The concept of regional Hub meetings has evolved over the years to reflect the growth of ICMCI and its network. As calls for cooperation within regions that shared similar challenges and cultures arose, and the Hub meetings became the answer to foster cooperative actions between the member IMCs to discuss regional and local issues that may not be perceived relevant on the global scale. Hub meetings are open to all Delegates from IMCs around the globe.
