ICMCI announces that the Annual Meeting of Delegates and the 10th CMC International Conference are to be held in Amman in October 2023. The conference will be titled “AI Driven Synergy - Exploring New Frontiers in Management Consulting”. The keynote speakers will be identified in the coming few weeks as the Board has agreed upon an exciting and informative agenda.
The first ICMCI Board Face-to-Face board meeting for 2023 was held in Amman, Jordan on March 20th – 21st. The meeting focused on the 2023 ICMCI strategy and decisions were made with regards to our 2023 events. It was a tremendously enriching experience with the contribution of all board members under the leadership of our Chair, Robert Bodenstein CMC® from the Austrian Institute.
At the governance level, the Board reviewed the recommendations of the governance taskforce which had been approved during our 2022 October Annual Meeting of Delegates. Twelve of the 50 recommendations were approved for immediate implementation, and the way forward for the remaining recommendations were agreed upon.
A number of professional development initiatives were put in place to complement the strategy and enhance the positioning of both ICMCI and its member institutes. These will enhance the status of our CMC designation and will provide the opportunity to expand on the numbers and types of our stakeholders. This is the next step in the ongoing efforts to enhance our operations and improve on our value proposition.
Other than the Annual Meeting of Delegates and the CMC International Conference, the board also decided that The International Consultants Day event planned for June 1st is now confirmed and the theme decided to be “Impactful Consulting – Creating Positive Opportunities”. The meeting this year will continue to be virtual.
The Constantinus International Award will also be hosted by ICMCI during the Annual Meeting of Delegates and the CMC International Conference in October. For the first time since 2019, these events will be held as in-person events.
As a bonus, the events will be held in an exciting place that holds many attractions for participants and their families. Multiple choices will be made for partner tours of Jordan to accompany the workdays as well as pre and post tours.
