Austria and Italy win gold at the
13th Constantinus International Award 2024
Success thanks to knowledge & innovation: At this year's Constantinus International Award, 29 projects from nine countries competed for victory in the management consulting and IT sectors. Gold went to Austria, another Gold and a Silver went to Italy.
Yerevan/Vienna, 15 October 2024 – The 13th Constantinus International Award, which recently took place in Yerevan, Armenia, was once again pleased to welcome pioneering projects that prove that the creativity of the management consulting and IT sectors is pointing the way to the future for the economy. Under the motto ‘Digital Horizons - Bridging Innovations for Sustainable Tomorrow’, Austria - the inventor nation of the award - secured one of two gold awards.
For UBIT Chairman Alfred Harl, Chairman of the Constantinus International Award, a total of 29 projects from nine countries - including hosts Armenia, Canada, China, Italy and Singapore in addition to the winners - clearly show: “We have managed to emphasise the strong cooperation between consulting and client companies even more with this award and give the great achievements in management consulting and IT an international stage.”
Reema Nasser, Director of International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) said additionally: “The Constantinus International Award is the distinguished mark in our profession for projects globally. All Nominees and Winners provided projects that had us wonder who the winner might be, they all deserved first class recognition!”
Gold and Silver for Italy
Gold went to Austria and the Haubers Naturresort project in the Allgäu region, managed by Dr Christoph Nussbaumer Strategy Consultants GmbH, experts in strategic hotel management. In this project, a manor in distress was transformed into a wellness and health oasis in the middle of nature.
Alongside Austria, two projects from Italy feature prominently on the podium in 2024. I.B.S. Moulding is an expert in plastics processing. The redesign of an industrial plant was planned with SGC Grecu Consulting Partners and won gold. The lean, efficient layout with a green footprint and the principles of Industry 4.0 were convincing. Silver went to the Consibrema project with ‘divine assistance’. Studio Zandonella & Partner advised the Council for Pastoral Cooperation of Breda-Maserada.
“With the International Constantinus Award the Management Consulting Profession recognizes its contribution to the economic and social welfare. I congratulate all the nominees, National Winners as well as the global award winners”, said Robert Bodenstein, Immediate Past Chair of ICMCI.
Silva Mesropyan, Executive Director and National Ambassador of Constantinus Award of IMC Armenia, the hosts of ICMCI’s 2024 events added that “This year was particularly significant and momentous for us at IMC Armenia. Not only did we participate in the award ceremony for the first time, but we also had the honor of presenting a national champion. Moreover, we took immense pride in bringing together a distinguished group of professional consultants in Yerevan to host a ceremony befitting the prestige of the awards.”
In times of latent crisis, the International Constantinus Award is thus placing even greater emphasis on important international cooperation in the economic sector. “The innovative strength and problem-solving expertise that characterises such projects brings us together internationally. This promotes stability and security,” concludes Harl.
