ICMCI International CMC® Conference 2026
From Vision to Value: Consulting for Sustainable Finance
21–22 October 2026 | Bucharest, Romania
The International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) invites thought leaders, practitioners, academics, policymakers and industry experts to submit proposals to speak at the ICMCI International CMC® Conference 2026.
The conference will bring together management consultants, financial institutions, development organizations, regulators and business leaders from around the world to explore how the consulting profession is supporting the transition to a more sustainable, resilient and digitally enabled global economy.
Topics of Interest
We welcome presentations, and panel contributions addressing topics including:
- Sustainable finance and ESG integration
- Artificial Intelligence in finance and consulting
- Digital assets, blockchain and emerging financial technologies
- Sustainable investment and responsible business practices
- Measuring the impact of sustainable finance
- Gender-responsive and inclusive finance
- MSME financing and blended finance
- Consulting innovation and future skills
- Regional and international case studies
- The evolving role of management consultants in sustainable finance

Speaker Information
Selected speakers will be invited to deliver keynote presentations or participate in panel discussions.
Please submit:
- A brief speaker biography (maximum 200 words)
- Presentation title and abstract (to include purpose and value to audience (maximum 300 words)
- Learning objective/opportunities
- Relevant experience related to the proposed topic (to include previous publications or presentations)
- Presentation format
Each agenda segement will be either 30 minutes or 45 minutes, please advise the duration of your presentation and make sure to commit to that when selected to prevent delays during the conference and guarantee timeliness of our agenda.
Important Information
- ICMCI is pleased to provide speakers with a platform to share their expertise with an international audience. Please note that participation as a speaker is voluntary. ICMCI does not provide speaker fees, honoraria, or reimbursement for travel, accommodation or related expenses. Speakers are expected to cover their own costs associated with attending the conference.
- Speeches/Presentations shall refer to a specific methodology and/or approach. They shall be easy to understand and at the same time being robust and consistent.
- Use cases are highly welcome.
- Speeches/Presentations must not promote specific services, brands, or service providers. However, a brief introduction of the speaker's organization is allowed. Speakers will be introduced in ICMCI’s official conference communications, including a link to their LinkedIn profiles. Speakers are also encouraged to share their presentation (referencing the conference) with their personal networks.
Please include a declaration in your proposal confirming your agreement to those terms.

Submission Details
Please submit your written proposals in electronic format along with appropriate supporting materials to the ICMCI secretariat office, reema.nasser@cmc-global.org and cmc-global@cmc-global.org. Deadline to receive the proposals is 21 August 2026.
Our goal is to simplify the proposal phase in order to simplify the selection process. Selection criteria is based on:
- Content and value to attendees.
- Relative subject to theme of conference
- Speaker/presenter profile

Important notes:
- All proposals will be evaluated and handled using the ethical standards of ICMCI keeping in mind that only a few can be selected for the conference.
- All approved proposals PowerPoints, visuals, written content will be shared with attendees in pdf format.
The Conference Committee thanks you in advance for your willingness to share your insights, however commercial presentations are not welcome, nor effective. We seek insight, collaboration and fresh viewpoints.
